SAFETY CULTURE

Robertson & Olson Construction works diligently to maintain a safe work environment free of incident or injury for all employees, subcontractors, clients and jobsites. An Injury-Free Environment (IFE) requires more than just reaching for a zero-injury goal—it involves creating and maintaining a safety culture that permeates everything we do.

Our site workers look out for each other and are required to keep a clean jobsite. Small items can make a big difference. We have regular safety meetings on the jobsite where we discuss current opportunities and threats throughout the project lifecycle.

TED EVERHART

Ted is our Safety Manager at Robertson & Olson Construction. He is a highly passionate Health and Safety professional with over 20 years’ experience in a wide range of environments from construction to industrial settings. Ted is motivated to be someone in the field who will stop and take the time to ensure individuals know and understand the work task and environment they are working in.

Ted takes pride in a “Coach and Council” approach versus an “Attack and Discipline” approach when educating workers on the safety procedures of their tasks. It is Ted’s goal to educate and encourage workers in all settings to be aware of safety risks and mitigate them before they occur.
